Product Composition

The self-contained test device includes all the reagents necessary to complete one test. The test area consists of a nitrocellulose membrane strip treated with thin lines of antibodies and a fiberglass pad containing antibody/dye conjugate. The test area also contains low levels of stabilizers and preservatives. The unit does not contain any human source material.

a) the diagnostic kit contains no infectious microorganisms, viruses or prions; and

b) the diagnostic kit contains specific antigens/antibodies for the detection of specific antibodies/antigents derived from the disease infective agents, but the antigens/antibodies in the test kit CANNOT cause infection.
